OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on IT System Engineer to support our routine business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS systems (hardware, software, and peripherals)
Manage and maintain Linux‑based servers and related services
Oversee user account management, device setup, and endpoint security
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
Ensure system and network security compliance, including patching and updates
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure IT systems align with business needs
Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures
Provide remote and onsite IT support to employees as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support
Strong expertise in Windows and macOS environments
Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)
Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administration
Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with NetSuite or Shopify administration and integration
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions such as Intune
Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA, etc.)
Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments
