Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Truck Driver - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $24.87 per hour, plus a $.50 cent shift premium.

What You'll Do:

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers. Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned. This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

In this function, you will: Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendors Perform local customer deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas Complete miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as needed

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: A current CDL - Class A No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Position Success Criteria:

Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening. Participate and comply with DOT-regulated random drug testing requirements.
