Law Firm Business Development Manager – Data Privacy & Cyber Security
ProspectBlue is partnering with a leading AmLaw 100 firm at the forefront of data privacy and cybersecurity law to identify a strategic, hands‑on Business Development Manager. This role will work closely with practice leaders to drive growth, elevate market presence, and deepen client relationships in a fast‑moving, high‑demand sector.
The Business Development Manager could work in one of the following cities: Richmond, Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia, Hoston, or Chicago.
What You’ll Do:
Shape and execute business development strategies for the Data Privacy & Cyber Security practice group.
Lead high‑impact pitches, develop proposals, and RFP responses with compelling, tailored messaging
Identify cross‑selling opportunities and drive strategic client expansion
Partner with attorneys to develop business plans and individual growth initiatives
Deliver market intelligence (clients, competitors, and industry trends) to inform strategy
Track pipeline, priorities, and ROI of business development efforts
Support events, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives
Collaborate with communications to amplify visibility through media and speaking opportunities
What You Bring:
5+ years of business development or marketing experience (law firm, professional services, or cybersecurity/data privacy environment)
Strong track record in pitches, proposals, and strategic planning
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Experience with privacy, cybersecurity, or technology sectors is a strong plus
