Third Shift: 11pm to 7:30am

Salary: $75,000-$80,000

Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor for their manufacturing plant in Edenton, NC

Key Responsibilities (3rd Shift):

* Provide direct supervision of plant operations, spending 75-80% of time on the floor training, mentoring, and identifying improvement opportunities.

* Ensure all operational processes and standard operating procedures are followed and continuously improved.

* Drive process standardization and eliminate waste (defects, downtime, motion, excess inventory, etc.).

* Complete all required reports (work orders, shift reports, production logs) accurately before the end of each shift.

* Monitor operators and leads to ensure accountability and adherence to responsibilities.

* Operate and oversee the moisture reduction/dryer process; maintain accurate control documentation.

* Ensure production of high-quality product at optimal cost.

* Train team members in safe, sanitary plant operations and enforce company policies.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility during shift operations.

* Support maintenance and equipment upkeep as needed.

* Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and all regulatory requirements.

* Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree preferred (Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related); equivalent experience accepted.

* Experience in operations or food manufacturing leadership.

* Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
