Delivery Driver

In this role, we are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to transport cannabis orders safely, accurately, and in full compliance with state regulations. The Delivery Driver is responsible for completing deliveries in a timely manner while ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This role has the opportunity to grow into full-time hours for the right candidate.

This role includes reviewing orders before and after delivery to confirm accuracy, proper documentation, and correct charges. The Driver will also be responsible for maintaining delivery records and ensuring all required manifests and documentation are completed and returned in accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Load the delivery vehicle at the start of each day based on scheduled routes


• Deliver orders promptly while maintaining a high standard of customer service


• Interpret and comply with all state laws and regulations related to cannabis transportation and delivery


• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Manage and maintain all required delivery documentation, ensuring manifests are properly completed and submitted


• Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and business partners


• Communicate effectively and proactively when issues arise during deliveries


• Perform basic vehicle checks and routine maintenance (e.g., checking fluids, tire condition)


• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary

$20 USD per hour

Required Skills

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings


• Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered)


• Must have a valid drivers license


• Ability to communicate professionally in person to effectively explain all variations of cannabis products to guests, if necessary


• Ability to obtain IIC - Maine Adult Use Cannabis Individual Identification Card


• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.


• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs


• 2+ years of Cannabis experience (Preferred)

Desired Skills

• Professional knowledge and working experience of cannabis products from a regulated retail or medical distribution center
• Computer skills working within a POS system as well as cash register and payment processing
