We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Design & Construction Project Manager for our Data Centers team. In this role you will lead the full‑lifecycle delivery of data center “refresh” design and construction projects across the US to ensure 100% uptime and extended facility life. You will transform existing data centers into efficient revenue generators by collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver cutting‑edge, sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead Project Delivery: Manage multidisciplinary teams and project controls—including budget, schedule, and risk—to drive the “refresh” of aging data centers from site assessment through facility activation.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner closely with IMDC operations, internal departments, and external vendors to align technical, safety, and delivery protocols across various U.S. jurisdictions.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Oversee design development and commissioning activities to ensure all projects strictly adhere to building codes, international standards, and organizational safety policies.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in mission‑critical MEP, data centers, or high‑tech labs, specifically within “live” operating environments.
Strong knowledge of technical systems, including MEP, UPS, chillers, and BMS, and proficiency in project tools such as Procore and Bluebeam.
Proven ability in leadership and project management, capable of managing complex, multi‑project environments and leading procurement under AIA‑type documents.
A degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or equivalent experience, and preferably a PMP certification.
