Job Description
This position supports the Correlation Research Division’s (CRD) assignment to provide timely, relevant, and reliable information to General Authorities and Church administrators to help them respond to the diverse challenges and opportunities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints. As an intern, you will support the research Center of Excellence and Research Operations teams with operational needs related to policies, processes, communications, and business operations. Your efforts will provide support and resources that will benefit Church employees worldwide.
Responsibilities
Help document or update research processes, policies, and templates to facilitate understanding both within the Research Division and across the organization
Coordinate creation of SharePoint pages and infographics to make processes and policies accessible to both researchers and the broader workforce
Develop a communication plan to help employees learn about process and policy resources
Help examine existing workflows to find ways to improve operational efficiency
Support organization‑wide research events (e.g., logistics, communications)
Facilitate project management, including scheduling, tracking progress, following up, and ensuring projects move forward
Qualifications
Currently working towards or recently completed a degree in business management, business administration, business operations, communication, organizational development, social sciences, economics, or closely related field
Candidates should demonstrate experience with at least one of the following: improving operations, technical writing, process documentation, process improvement, managing research project logistics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, including strong writing skills
Some exposure to research concepts (via education or work experience)
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Flexible work arrangement that allows for remote work each week. Typically must come into the office one day per week
Must reside within commuting distance of Salt Lake City
This internship will last 1 year and is expected to work 20 hours per week on average
