Senior Frontend Engineer
• Seed-stage; AI + Finance •
$175K - $250K + Equity
My client is a fast-growing seed-stage startup in San Francisco, backed by top investors. They are building AI agents that transform the finance industry by automating complex workflows. This is a true 0 to 1 product environment where every engineer shapes the future of the company.
They are looking for ex-founders, founding engineers, or senior builders who thrive in high-growth settings and want meaningful ownership from day one.
Responsibilities
Build and ship user-facing features from concept through to production
Translate advanced AI capabilities into simple and intuitive interfaces
Design seamless discovery, search, and workflow experiences
Own frontend systems including components, performance, and state management
Work closely with design and backend teams to deliver a polished product
Requirements
Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind
Proven track record of building performant, responsive, and accessible interfaces
Product-focused with exceptional attention to detail and user experience
Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with high autonomy
Bonus: experience working with Python backends
