Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking Per Diem Medical Assistants to support our clinical teams across Connecticut. This flexible role helps cover shifts related to employee leaves, call-outs, and fluctuating patient volume. Key Responsibilities: • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments • Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, PCR testing, specimen collection, and wound care • Support daily clinic operations and ensure a positive patient experience • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED preferred • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred • Prior urgent care or clinical experience strongly preferred • Experience with EHR/EMR systems • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills • Availability to accept shifts as needed, including short-notice coverage What We Offer: • Competitive per diem pay based on experience • Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends • Supportive, team-based work environment Ready to Support Care When It Counts?
