An experienced & career-minded dental hygienist is needed to work in a 2 dentist private practice. In our fee-for-service practice, we think of our patients as family & we're committed to providing them with an excellent experience by a dedicated, professional, and knowledgeable team. Our team has worked together in part over the last 30+ years, and we think good laughter and good snacks get us through even the toughest of days! *Schedule: *Our office is open 7am-4pm Monday through Thursday, with some flexibility. We are looking for someone that is able to be here at least 20 minutes before opening and wrap up after last the patient ends at 3pm.
*Requirements:*
* Dental Hygiene Certification from accredited Dental Hygiene school
* Current Hygiene License
* Maintained annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law
*Preferred Experience: *
* Knowledge of Dentrix, CEREC, intraoral cameras, digital imaging/CBCT is a plus!
* Local Anesthesia Certification
*What You'll Do:*
* Provide periodontal therapy and preventive care with a high standard of excellence.
* Use technology to enhance diagnosis and patient communication
* Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships
* Verify/document patient health history and educate patients about oral hygiene/health/disease as well as treatment offered
* Perform clinical hygiene functions including but not limited to: exposing/evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, adult/child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, and co-assessing possible restorative treatments with the doctor
* Determine needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed
* Sterilizing instruments
* Assisting in other office tasks such as answering the phones, checking-in patients, cleaning the office, etc.
Compensation is based on experience of applicant.

* Proporcionar terapia periodontal y atención preventiva con un alto nivel de excelencia.
* Usar tecnología para mejorar el diagnóstico y la comunicación con los pacientes
* Establecer y mantener relaciones continuas de atención al paciente
* Verificar/documentar el historial de salud del paciente y educar a los pacientes sobre la higiene oral/salud/enfermedad, así como el tratamiento ofrecido
* Realizar funciones de higiene clínica que incluyen, entre otras cosas: exponer/ evaluar las radiografías diagnósticas, tomar y registrar la presión arterial, profilaxis para adultos / niños, terapia periodontal no quirúrgica y co-evaluar posibles tratamientos restaurativos con el médico
* Determinar las necesidades y realizar los tratamientos de sellamiento, Arestin y fluoruro según sea necesario
* Instrumentos de esterilización
* Asistir en otras tareas de oficina tales como responder los teléfonos, registrar a pacientes, limpiar la oficina, etc.
