Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Report to Burns Waste Dispatcher
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to deliver and pick up containers from various construction sites.
- Ensure proper loading and securement of containers for safe transport.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring trucks are in good working condition.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Accurately complete and submit load tickets, route logs, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and clients to coordinate timely service.
- Ensure proper placement of containers at job sites to avoid obstructions or damage.
- Handle minor maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressures, and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
- Keep trucks clean and well-maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients at job sites.
All candidates must be able to pass the following:
- DOT Drug Screen (fee paid by Burns)
- Background Screening
- MVR Screening
- DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Query
