Role Summary
At Billennium, we combine technology with business impact. As a Business Development Manager , you will act as a trusted partner and frontline ambassador of Billennium, responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with clients across the Dutch and Scandinavian markets .
We are looking for a proactive, business-oriented professional who understands the specifics of the Dutch market and broader Nordic region, and can effectively build long-term partnerships, drive growth, and ensure business continuity.
What you will do Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, managers, and partners across the Dutch and Nordic IT market. Understand client needs, expectations, and challenges, proactively addressing them to ensure high satisfaction and long-term cooperation.
Execute account strategies and contribute to Account Plans to drive revenue growth within key clients.
Identify and develop cross-selling and up-selling opportunities in collaboration with Sales Managers.
Actively acquire new clients and expand Billennium’s presence across the Netherlands and Scandinavia.
Build and manage your own portfolio of clients.
Position Billennium as a trusted technology partner by understanding client business challenges and aligning solutions accordingly.
Contract Management & Negotiations Lead preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and commercial agreements.
Ensure all agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration with Legal & Internal Teams Work closely with the Legal team on contract reviews and negotiations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders: Competence Centers, Recruitment, CX, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, and Administration to deliver high-quality solutions.
Prepare reports on sales activities, client engagement, and pipeline.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (Business Development / Sales in IT services).
Strong experience with the Dutch market and/or Scandinavian markets (Nordics) – this is a must-have.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical approach and ability to translate client needs into business solutions.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Nice to have Dutch language skills (highly preferred).
Any Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish) will be a strong asset.
We are open to candidates based in Poland, especially those with Dutch or Nordic language capabilities.
Willingness to travel regularly across the Netherlands and Scandinavia.
