We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse-Unit Manager for our Short-Term Stay Rehabilitation Unit. The Registered Nurse-Unit Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Responsible for completing, coordinating, and/or directing the initial admission assessments, medication regimen, and initial care plans for each new admission.
*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Licensed to practice as an RN in the State of South Carolina
* Must maintain current SC RN license and CPR certification
* Must have 2-4 years practical experience as an RN and preferably in a Nursing/Resident Home environment
* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and authority when circumstances warrant such action
* Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
* Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to residential care
* Must possess leadership, supervisory and authority ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
* Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care
* Able to relate information concerning a resident's condition

El gerente de una unidad de enfermeras registradas es responsable de ayudar al Director de Servicios de Enfermera (DON) en la planificación, organización, desarrollo y dirección de las funciones diarias del Departamento de Enfantesías de acuerdo con los estándares federales, estatales y locales vigentes, pautas y regulaciones que rigen la instalación, y según lo indiquen el Administrador, el Director Médico y el Director de servicios de Infecciones, para garantizar que se mantenga siempre el mayor grado de atención de calidad. Responsable de completar, coordinar y/o dirigir las evaluaciones iniciales de admisión, régimen de medicación y planes de cuidado inicial para cada nueva admisión.
*Cualificaciones:*
* Graduado en una escuela de enfermería acreditada
* Licenciado para ejercer como RN en el estado de Carolina del Sur
* Debe mantener la licencia actual de SC RN y la certificación CPR
* Debe tener 2-4 años de experiencia práctica como RN y preferiblemente en un entorno Nursing/Resident Home
* Debe poseer la capacidad de tomar decisiones independientes y autoridad cuando las circunstancias lo justifiquen
* Tener la capacidad de tratar con tacto al personal, a los residentes, familiares, visitantes, agencias/personal del gobierno y al público en general
* Debe tener conocimiento de las prácticas y procedimientos médicos, así como de las leyes, reglamentos y directrices relativas a la atención residencial
