Who You Are
A design project leader with 8+ yearsof experience inguiding multidisciplinary engineering and architectural initiatives
Experienced at synchronizing internal teams and external consultants on large-scale, fast-paced projects
Skilled at navigating the intersections of design, construction, and procurement in high-demand environments
Adept at identifying potential risks early and implementing solutions to keep schedules on track
Comfortable orchestrating complex workflows and facilitating collaboration across diverse technical disciplines
What You’ll Do
Drive alignment among architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and specialty engineering teams
Manage design timelines, key milestones, and cross-discipline deliverables to match overall program schedules
Act as the central liaison between engineering groups and program management for design execution
Oversee creation, review, and coordination of drawings and technical documentation
Lead design-focused workshops, coordination sessions, and review meetings
Track and address design-related inquiries from construction teams, ensuring timely resolution
Partner with procurement to integrate supplier constraints, lead times, and capabilities into design decisions
Monitor potential design risks that could affect construction initiation, equipment procurement, or commissioning
What Success Looks Like
Design efforts consistently meet program timelines and budget objectives
Seamless collaboration between engineering disciplines, external consultants, and procurement
Timely delivery of design packages that support construction readiness and commissioning milestones
Effective identification and mitigation of design risks before they impact project execution
Clear, accurate, and actionable updates provided to leadership on design progress and issues
Salary Range:
$200,000 - 250,000 annually, based on experience
