Role Summary
Our Global Technical team is looking for a missionary to serve as a Tower Maintenance Technician to properly maintain antenna systems and other equipment needed to operate a radio broadcast transmitting site.

Responsibilities

Monitor condition of antenna and related systems for deterioration or other threats

Instruct tower workers in safety and proper execution of the job

Inspect all safety equipment and supplies/tools for each tower job

Maintain inventory and assist with re-supply

Work irregular hours when repairs are needed or night shifts

Desirable Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in engineering. Associate’s accepted, Bachelor’s preferred

Knowledge of tower structures, support systems, standard rigging practices and metal structure maintenance

Practical experience or knowledge in several of these areas: air conditioning, mechanical, auto/diesel, electrical, painting, roofing, and related areas
