Responsibilities
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Data Center Technician II in Kent, WA. The Network Platform Development team operates large-scale testbeds spanning multiple racks with over 1,000 connections to validate routers and network operating systems before deployment. They are deploying 35 new rack positions in 2026 to support growing testing demands, and are currently building a single testbed that takes approximately 4 weeks, with 95% of that time consumed by manual labor including physical cabling, unboxing equipment, decommissioning, and cable management. These tasks are performed by L5/L4 network technicians and do not require specialized network engineering skills. Physical work includes unboxing devices and materials, decommissioning old equipment, and lab optimization efforts that do not require specialized network engineering skills.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
