Overview
Clinical Support Tech 1 is a staff position that provides basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. The role works in collaboration with an assigned licensed practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care and is a valued member of the patient care team. The role may include patient check-in through manual/paper or digital solutions and, as necessary, support for registration-related transactions including point of service collections. Estimated pay range: $17.79 - $23.13 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Provide basic technical patient care skills under supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
Collaborate with the assigned licensed practitioner to ensure safe, quality patient care.
Assist with patient check-in and, when needed, registration-related transactions including point of service collections.
Qualifications
Degrees: High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
Licenses & Certifications: Registered Medical Assistant; Basic Life Support; Certified Nursing Assistant; Emergency Medical Technician; AAMA Certified Medical Assistant.
Additional Qualifications: CNA OR EMT OR MED_ASST OR Medical Assistant OR RMA; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology; Bilingual – English and Spanish.
