Additionally, Rochester has the largest silver reserve asset in the United States.

About The Job
Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada, is seeking a Skilled Utility Technician to join our team at the Rochester Mine.
Responsibilities
Safely and effectively build, maintain and design using metal, wood, dirt and concrete
Ability and knowledge of laser leveling, GPS and survey equipment, with advanced knowledge of all Safety and Environmental procedures
Operate mobile equipment: must be able to operate dozers, tractors and loaders
Site‑wide snow removal, including shovel, skid steer, ice, etc.
Relief in refinery or process plant as needed
Ability to work under all weather conditions
Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain
Ability to safely and efficiently work around various electrical and water utilities, overhead and electrical lines and congested areas
Ability to job plan and execute within safety and environmental compliance, coordinate with contractor and interdepartmental, technician training on equipment and special project assignments
Complete Intelex and Oracle reporting and operations
Able to wear and complete job tasks using all required PPE including safety toe and rubber boots, gloves and respirator, etc.
Follow and support all federal, state, and company policies
Required Qualifications & Skills
Valid Nevada motor vehicle operator’s license
2 or more years of mining experience, preferred
Experienced mobile equipment operator (skid steer, dozer, loader, water truck)
High school diploma or GED
Safety conscious
Self‑motivated
Additional Information
Hourly Rate Range: $32.79 – 45.18 (DOE)
Rotating Shifts: Mon‑Thu or Tue‑Fri (10‑hour shifts)
Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
Full benefits on day 1 (medical, vision, dental, employee assistance program, Teladoc service)
6% dollar‑for‑dollar employer match to 401(k) or Roth, immediate vesting
Flexible schedule
Bus service from Winnemucca, Lovelock, and Fallon
Travel pay for those outside of bus service
