Job Summary

Provides continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance for patients in general care areas and the Emergency Department requiring telemetry monitoring. Demonstrates ability to identify, quantify and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias.

Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON - SITE.

Standard Hours: 28.00
Shift: 2nd
Schedule Pattern: 2:00PM-10:00PM
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 4: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday
Week 5: Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 6: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Assigned Holiday rotation
Education

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Training

Must complete ImPULSE Course and pass associated module exams within 3 attempts with a score of 80%, or higher within two weeks of initial start date.
Special Skills

Must have the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment. Exemplary communication, telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required. Must possess analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data. Must be capable of continuous monitoring of patients, remaining alert at all times while on duty. Working knowledge of Windows office systems and all office equipment.
