Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lakewood, CO, for an Administrative and Logistics Support Specialist. The role involves coordinating daily administrative operations, including scheduling, document management, meeting preparation, and communication support. The Specialist will also provide logistics support, such as inventory management, organizing shipments and deliveries, and assisting with procurement processes. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth processes and operational efficiency is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Administrative Support services, scheduling, and document management.
Logistics and Inventory Management skills, including organization and coordination of shipments and deliveries.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving and Time Management skills to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing processes and handling documentation.
Experience with office productivity tools and databases, such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Knowledge of procurement processes and familiarity with federal agency procedures is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience is also valued.
Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or a minimum of 2 years of college or 4 years of work experience.
Prior warehouse experience is optional.
Prior professional office experience is required.
Ability to deal effectively with diverse teams and Federal staff in a professional environment.
Ability to maintain a professional approach with attention to customer service in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Physical requirements – Standing, walking, bending, and occasionally carrying items such as boxes (up to 20 lbs.), papers books, etc.
No domestic travel required.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Statement of Work
Receive and sort all mail, processing of routine and non-routine orders utilizing data entry for creating customer accounts and creating sales order, then completing quality check steps to release orders for fulfillment.
Processes routine, non-routine, Bulk and Business Partner orders utilizing data entry for creating those unique customer accounts and sales orders.
Ensures quality control of both mail in and online orders.
Customer and Order Support through research problem orders with incorrect or incomplete applications or documentation.
Quality Control Support. As part of order fulfillment tasks, packages product for delivery to customers, supports quality control of products and product orders.
Package product for delivery to customers.
Operate Shipping Manifest.
Maintains inventory and initiates purchase requests.
Follows established safety policies consistent with good office and warehousing practices, and USGS and OSHA regulations.
Physical Demands
The work is mostly sedentary. Some standing, walking, bending, and occasionally carrying light items such as papers and books are required.

Pay
PayRate of $26.68 per hour.
80 hours paid vacation. Option to earn more with additional years of service.
56 hours paid sick leave.
