Position Overview
Park County, intermittent contract. Hours will vary. Not eligible for benefits. FLSA status: Non-exempt. This classification is distinguished by routine, repetitive work with close supervision and limited decision-making. The role provides support and assistance to those responsible for case processing and coordination of judicial activities in the Colorado Judicial Department.
Responsibilities
Support case processing and coordination of judicial activities in the Colorado Judicial Department.
Perform routine file maintenance and process mail.
Serve as bailiff and/or receptionist.
File, copy materials, scan documents, and perform data entry.
Prepare the courtroom for proceedings and maintain an orderly courtroom.
Provide customer service to litigants, attorneys, and court staff.
Occasionally travel as required.
No formal supervisory responsibilities; responsible for one's own work.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent.
Physical Demands
Regular walking, standing, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, performing repetitive wrist and hand motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking or hearing. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision: close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high precarious places. Handles emergency or crisis situations; frequent interruptions and multiple calls/inquiries. Moderate noise level.
