How you’ll make an impact in this role
Deliver compassionate, direct patient care under RN supervision, ensuring every individual’s daily needs and comfort are met with dignity.
Monitor and track vital signs and patient responses to provide the clinical team with the real-time data necessary for safe, effective interventions.
Document the patient’s journey and clinical observations accurately to maintain high-quality medical records and seamless care transitions.
Collaborate with your preceptor to refine care plans, using your frontline observations to help shape the best possible outcomes for your patients.
Perform other tasks as assigned, including preparing/transporting patients for diagnostics and supporting a clean, safe healing environment.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
What Additional Preferences We're Seeking
Must be enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing ADN or BSN program
Successful completion of first semester of RN curriculum
Maryland Board of Nursing CNA certification required
Commitment of 60 hours minimum (5-6 shifts) per semester based on intern’s availability with no obligation to commit to days, nights, weekends, weekday, or holiday shifts.
