Job Description
The Sensitive and Special Operations (SSO) Division Office at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking motivated, customer-focused undergraduate students to provide administrative support within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across the SSO Division Office and group offices as needed
Assist division support staff with day-to-day operational needs
Collaborate with group support staff and management while completing training
Maintain office environment of professionalism and initiative to learn and support
Provide professionally written documents and communications
Handle personnel and sensitive matters with tact, discretion, and professionalism
Minimum Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in a relevant engineering discipline.
Must be enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent).
Must currently have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
Desired Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow structured guidance from staff and management
Work Location
The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
