HRIS Coordinator

The HRIS Coordinator supports HR operations by maintaining and managing accurate employee data in ADP and related HR systems, ensuring records are complete, accurate, audit-ready, and compliant. This role is responsible for HRIS data entry and maintenance, electronic personnel files, employment verifications, and the preparation of routine and ad hoc HR reports and metrics. The HRIS Coordinator also supports employees and internal stakeholders by addressing HR inquiries related to policies and procedures and providing personnel records.
Responsibilities
Maintain employee data in ADP and other HR systems throughout the employee life cycle
Enter and update HRIS information accurately and on time
Maintain electronic employee personnel files
Process employment verifications for current and former employees
Prepare routine and ad hoc HR reports and compile workforce metrics
Respond to employee questions about HR policies and procedures
Gather personnel records for internal requests
Assist with HRIS system updates and testing
Provide administrative support for the Human Resources team
Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
At least 1 year of professional experience with data entry and organizing data, preferably within an HR or HR Operations function
Experience using HRIS and ATS platforms, with preference for experience in ADP and iCIMS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and workplace technology
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Additional Information
This is a full-time non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $24.72-$27.47 (annualized at 35 hours per week to $45,000-$50,000) with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer match, and tuition reimbursement.
This is a hybrid role located in Briarwood, Queens with a regular schedule of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and an expectation of working from the office 3 days per week.
