Business Development Manager - Cosmetics
Your responsibilities:
Drive market expansion and revenue growth in the US cosmetics sector by shaping and executing targeted commercial strategies
Spot and act on high-value opportunities and emerging segments
Lead high-stake negotiations and secure strategic partnerships with key industry players
Build and nurture strong relationships across the cosmetics ecosystem to accelerate business development momentum
Serve as a technical partner to customers (including formulators, brands, contract manufacturers, and global corporations); providing guidance on product selection, formulation challenges, regulatory considerations, and market trends
Track market dynamics, competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and ingredient innovations
Represent the company at major trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Your Profile:
A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Formulation Science, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales within the cosmetics or personal care industry
Solid technical expertise in cosmetic ingredients and formulation technologies
Practical experience in formulation or product development is a strong advantage
A well-established network across the cosmetics landscape
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage formulators, R&D teams, procurement, and senior leadership
Willingness to travel up to 50 % to support customers and business growth
