Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a community that **truly needs passionate educators** ? We're partnering with a district near the Dothan, AL area to fill several full-time SPED positions across elementary grade levels-ideal for educators who thrive in supportive, student-centered environments.
**?** **What You'll Do**
+ Support students primarily in **K-6 settings**
+ Provide instruction in a **resource/pull-out classroom model**
+ Manage IEPs (most caseloads under 20 students)
+ Collaborate closely with General Education teachers in a **co-teaching environment** (for select classrooms)
+ Utilize **PowerSchool Special Programs** for documentation and compliance
+ Demonstrate strong knowledge of IEP compliance and state education requirements
+ Help support a high-needs district committed to building a strong internal SPED team
+ Use the Powerschool Special Program charting system
**?** **What We're Looking For**
+ Alabama **Collaborative Certification** (K-6 or 6-12)
+ _Optional:_ Pre-K Certification for early childhood SPED roles
+ Prior SPED experience preferred
+ Familiarity with Alabama state code is a plus
+ Ability to work effectively in both pull-out and collaborative teaching models
+ Strong organizational skills for case management and documentation
