We have an exciting opportunity for an Intake Coordinator (Scheduler) to join our team of talented professionals.

The estimated salary for this position will vary based on a candidate's transferable work experience and qualifications. This is a salary grade 105 and compensation ranges start at $23.82/hr. The range provided is just one component of total compensation, including a comprehensive benefit package of affordable medical plans, employer‐paid dental, vision and long‑term disability, 401(k), flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.

Responsibilities

Assessing, prioritizing, processing and scheduling all forensic interviews and medical evaluations for both locations of the CAC, while determining the urgency and needs of each referral.

Ensuring that forensic interviews and medical evaluations are scheduled accurately and in a timely manner with involved multidisciplinary team members to support investigations of cases of alleged child abuse and neglect.

Maintaining multiple schedules for three disciplines at the CAC.

Maintaining data accurately and completing reports as necessary.

Working regular hours Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, and being willing to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the CAC’s clients and partners.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field and at least one year of experience working with children and families.

Experience working with physically and sexually abused children and with law enforcement officials and the Department of Human Services is a priority.

The ability to use independent judgment, solution‑focused problem solving, and initiative.

Valid driver’s license and a favorable driving record.

Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of children and their families, and ability to relate well with people of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Ability to accurately assess and navigate complex situations and community systems while maintaining accurate records.

Computer proficiency, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and duties simultaneously.

Capability to appropriately handle crisis situations, demonstrate effective communication skills, a professional and welcoming persona, and exemplary customer service.
