Position Overview
We are looking for an on‑call Crisis Support Worker to join our team! A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families is preferred. We will teach you the rest.
A Day in the Life as a Crisis Support Worker
As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins at 5 pm, but your schedule is flexible, and you can pick the days of the week that best work for you. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We provide a company car, cell phone, and computer.

We are looking for a person who is compassionate, eager to learn, and who wants to help children in times of crisis. You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively, have a desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills, and a strong desire to advocate for children. This position is ideal for those looking for a part‑time job and who want experience in the child welfare field.
