We are seeking a forward‑thinking Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and tourist board members across the Midwest territory.
Key Responsibilities
Impact the number of clients booking Sandals and Beaches by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within the assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels.
Grow new business by helping travel agencies develop marketing plans and reach booking goals through the Certified & Preferred Sandals Agency Programs.
The position requires an outgoing, positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time‑management skills, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Extensive travel is required.
Maintain a level of computer proficiency that allows navigation of the internet, e‑mail communications, laptop operation, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and word‑processing tasks. Expected to speak publicly and prepare presentations for travel agencies.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills for communicating with internal and external customers.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize workload to meet deadlines, and maintain a professional demeanor under stress.
Work well with little to no supervision and within a team setting, multitask and shift direction quickly.
Travel internationally and domestically while maintaining proper and up‑to‑date documentation.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including management, senior management, product management, support, and development teams.
Willingness to have image captured for Sales & Marketing purposes.
Position includes a major element of administrative work, along with business development and marketing.
The company will provide a monthly car‑allowance to cover personal vehicle use and will reimburse business expenses paid with a personal credit card within two weeks.

Ability to grow business and work under pressure.
Ability to travel away from home every week and extensively as needed.
Ability to work weekend events and host trips to the Caribbean, often involving nights and weekends.
Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently from a home office without direct supervision.
Prioritization, organization, and execution across many activities with flexibility and adaptability to consistent changes.
Professionalism in social situations.
Clear articulation via written and oral communication, including public speaking, slide presentations, and webinars to large groups.
High proficiency with e‑mail, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and most social media platforms.
Management of administrative tasks while traveling overnight.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with accounts, peers, and clients.
Lifting ability for boxes of collateral (up to 50 lbs) and setting up booth displays.
Maintain an acceptable driving record and a valid passport.
Compensation
Base salary of $70,000.00 with an opportunity for incentives.
