Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and results‑oriented Business Development Manager to expand our Air, Ocean, and Logistics (including warehousing) services across the Northeast U.S.
This role is ideal for a self‑starter who thrives on building new business, developing client relationships, and taking ownership of their market.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Drive revenue growth across Air, Ocean, and Logistics/Warehousing services
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities
Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Lead client meetings (virtual and in‑person) and present tailored logistics solutions
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
Prepare and manage spot and regular quotations with internal support teams
Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure seamless service delivery
Location
Secaucus, NJ (covering the Northeast U.S.) – Hybrid work environment with client travel as needed
Qualifications
Proven success in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management
Strong ability to prospect, close deals, and grow accounts
Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis
Skilled in negotiation and strategic planning
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
