Turbine Field Service Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

The Turbine Field Service Engineer is responsible for
providing field technical services for Siemens Energy combustion
turbine-generators and associated auxiliary systems including commissioning,
fact finding, trouble shooting, combustion dynamics & emissions tuning, and
periodic support of new unit installations!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supervise
  the field technicians in the execution of the TS/PAS work scope as it
  relates to Safety, Quality, and Schedule


• Participating
  in Pre and Post outage meetings, Rapid Risk Assessments, and After-Action
  Reviews


• Supports
  Turbine Services tooling improvements/development


• Support
  Turbine Services back-office Project Engineers with preplanning, review
  and rewrites field procedures during the off-peak season


• You
  will be responsible for outage execution within the organization working
  under the site PM or potentially directly with the customer

What You Bring

• Must
  have a High School diploma/GED that can be certified; An Associates Degree
  or in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Combustion related
  degree or field is a plus.


• 5+
  years of field experience and /or shop experience is preferred 


• Knowledge
  and understanding of Turbine Services capabilities and product offerings
  is strongly preferred


• Indirectly
  managing internal and external resources to support outage demands


• Strong
  interpersonal skills and efficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet
  navigation


• 75%
  travel (on average) required

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the
