**Overview**
The Coordinator for Parent & Family Programs serves as the central connection point for families of Auburn University's 30,000+ students primarily through the Auburn Family Portal and active engagement across social media platforms. This role responds to parent questions and concerns via email, phone, and social media while also creating and sharing timely updates, resources, and campus highlights to keep families informed and involved. The Coordinator for Parent & Family Programs collaborates with departments across campus to ensure family communications reflect the full Auburn experience and support student success.

**Responsibilities**
+ Review, edit, and create content for electronic communications for the office, including website, Family Portal, Family Connection Hours, Facebook, and Instagram.
+ Coordinate large-scale parent and family events, including Fall Family Weekend.
+ Respond to parent questions/concerns via e-mail and phone, including managing the account.
+ Support the AUPFA Board of Directors and Ambassadors.
+ Communicate with staff across campus and the community about Parent and Family Programs.
+ Serve on university committees on behalf of Parent and Family Programs.
+ Review content for Parent & Family Resource Guide and other publications.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience in Education, Social Work, Public Relations/Communications, Marketing, or a similar field.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity in social media strategy, digital content creation (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred), and writing for diverse platforms; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), content management systems, and design tools.
