Parts Coordinator, Switchgear - Anderson

Overview
We are looking for a qualified Parts Coordinator to organize material according to demand/quality standards for support of our products on customer sites. An excellent coordinator who is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of support for our production operations.

Responsibilities

Working with warehouse management and production for tracking and coordinating needed switchgear product/materials for Customer Requirements.

Liaison with production, planning, sub-contractors, suppliers, including site service and meetings if required.

Liaison with production scheduler to ensure timely manufacture and turnaround of project deliverables.

Communicating frequently with Warehouse Manager, Field Services Supervisor and Project Manager is essential.

Create Purchase Orders to Suppliers and order demand to direct the inbound supply of material.

Work with warehouse personnel to pick material and prepare shipments, for final shipment and pick up by carriers.

Regularly Maintain and communicate project status updates to Field Service Supervisors and Project Managers.

Generates documentation of order fulfillment and updates the Customer as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP software preferred

Self-starter who can resolve issues, work independently, engage in creative problem solving and coordinate team efforts

A high degree of communication and organizational skills are required

Valid driver’s license is required

Forklift certification may be required.

Education and Certifications

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

Associates in a Business Administration related field.

Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)

Working around moving machinery (forklifts, tractors)

Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
