Operator Warehouse Receiving
Altavista, VA – This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science‑based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active.
What You’ll Work On
Understand and properly utilize finished goods and raw material selection by using the Cambar/MITS system to support FEFO.
Store, pick or assemble materials in the warehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, and release status and lot number.
Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy.
Store all raw materials in assigned areas within the warehouse.
Prior to storing, remove all visibly damaged products and return it to the appropriate processing area.
Properly label and receive raw materials into the MITs system.
Stage labels and complete label control portion of work order.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate and obtain a forklift driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and understanding of a Warehouse Management System.
Ability to efficiently use a personal computer.

The base pay for this position is $17.15 – $34.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the posted range.
