Overview
Job Description: Domino's Pizza is hiring for assistant managers. You need skills in judgment, math and the ability to multitask. You will lead and ensure the team performs effectively across shifts.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Qualifications and Duties
General job duties for all store team members.
Operate equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
Orientation and on-the-job training provided.
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, precise movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
Varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In-store temperatures from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F+ in some areas.
Possible sudden changes in temperature in work areas and outside.
Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust; walk-in cooler and other cramped spaces.
Hot surfaces up to 500+ degrees and sharp edges or moving parts.
Sensing
Talking and hearing on telephone; vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Standing for most tasks; walking for short distances; sitting for office paperwork; lifting up to 50 pounds with occasional over 72 inches stacking; carrying items like canned goods and pizza sauce; pushing, pulling, climbing stairs or ladders as needed; repeated bending, reaching, and other movements.
