Responsibilities
A Kroger Deli Clerk creates an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while encouraging other associates to do the same.
Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all quality assurance standards.
Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Qualifications
Outstanding customer service skills.
Desire to gain an understanding of food production and basic cooking techniques.
Effective communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Good basic math skills.
Ability to obtain a current food‑handler permit once employed.
