About The Job
The role of the Harvest Technician executes the harvest, bucking processes, as well as room cleaning and defoliation. Ensures compliance with company procedures and product specifications.
What You Will Do
Executes bucking and harvesting processes. Assists in Deleafing plants. Cleans flower rooms post harvest for replanting.
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
Works productively to achieve daily and weekly goals.
Expected to display teamwork, mutual respect, open communication within the team and across functions.
Adheres to SOP’s.
Adhere to KPI metrics to ensure timely material flow to ensure supply for the processing team.
Maintain quality standards and conduct periodic QC checks of WIP material.
What We Are Looking For
Hardworking individuals that like working with plant material with a mindset geared towards quality and efficiency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor farm environment under high intensity lighting and warm/humid conditions.
Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements and tasks.
Ability to adapt to different strains’ plant structure during various plant work tasks.
Excellent attention to detail especially when pruning live plants and labeling strains separately.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Calm under pressure.
Ability to work independently and diligently with minimal supervision.
Strongly committed to maintaining high quality work standards in repetitive tasks.
Safety and compliance focused.
High school degree or equivalent required.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Experience in the cannabis or agricultural industry is preferred.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance.
Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
Able to be in varying temperature and humidity environmental conditions.
Must not be allergic to or have a fear of insects.
