Direct Support Aides - $20/hr - All shifts!

Our client has an urgent need for direct support aides to provide care to adult consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes in the Uniontown, PA area. The role is responsible for assisting individuals with their activities of daily living in a residential home setting.
Compensation and Hours
Up to $20/hr. compensation depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
A variety of shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd & Blocks) available, weekdays and/or weekends.
Work a few shifts or a full schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide support that enhances individuals' quality of life.
Provide personal care management to individuals with autism and other mental and developmental disabilities.
Perform light household duties and assist clients with daily functional activities including meal preparation, housekeeping, and life skills group.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year paid experience providing direct care support.
Ability to work with low, mid, and high functioning consumers.
Ability to work with wheelchair and hoyers, if needed.
Ability to complete requested clearances (e.g., Physical/TB screening, CPR/First Aid, PA State criminal background).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Some online trainings will need to be completed.
