Basic Qualifications

Candidate must have a Secret security clearance with investigation completed within the last 6 years.

Ability to obtain and retain a DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire.

IT experience in any combination of system, database, or network administration.

Knowledge of Windows, SQL, and Cisco products.

Job Description
Operational support role to an active fighter unit; responsible for the security and integrity of the systems that keep F‑35 jets flying, including the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).

Responsibilities

Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.

Travel for military deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore) for extended periods as operational needs dictate.

Work various shift hours, including weekends, to support customer mission requirements.

Complete pre‑employment medical exams to ensure capability to deploy to austere environments with limited medical care.

Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.

Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems, databases, and network equipment.

Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account configuration and monitoring.

Install system‑wide software and allocate mass storage space.

Coordinate with peers, Tier‑2 support, and engineers to ensure smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems.

Review processes and procedures, collect system operational data for analysis.

Re‑image laptops, troubleshoot, and perform account maintenance.

Regularly monitor systems and applications for availability and performance.

Provide first‑line support for customer inquiries and troubleshooting reported problems.

Desired Skills

Experience troubleshooting applications.

Account maintenance with Active Directory, Oracle, and CRM.

Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.

Virtual machine management (Hyper‑V / VMware).

Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and managing rack component startup/shutdown.

Applying updates, anti‑virus/anti‑spyware updates, and patch updates.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration.

Importing/exporting large data volumes.

Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software.

Remote Work
Part‑time remote telework: Selected employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
