Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of measuring instruments and equipment.
Ensure consistency and accuracy in metrics by conducting routine inspections and audits.
Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to integrate metric standards into daily operations.
Maintain detailed records of calibration and maintenance activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
Analyze measurement data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
Assist in the development and implementation of new measurement processes and best practices.
Provide technical support and training to team members on the proper use of measurement tools and techniques.
Qualifications
Associate degree in metrology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of measurement principles and practices.
Proficiency with measurement tools and software, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical team members.
