Pulp Operator Job Summary
Operates site equipment and processes to meet daily production, safety, and environmental goals. Role may include rotating shifts and responsibilities vary by skill level.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor boilers, utilities, and production systems via DCS.
Troubleshoot and support material handling, pulp, recovery, warehouse, and packaging areas.
Receive raw materials and manage shipping of finished goods.
Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and assist with maintenance planning.
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain process knowledge.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
Available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
High school diploma; strong math and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety, environmental standards, and manufacturing practices.
Mechanical aptitude or process control experience.
Schedule is 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on a 2/2/3 schedule.
Pay starts at $18/hr.
