Job Summary
Position: Lifeguard at Golfland Entertainment Centers.
Responsibilities
Move and stand to observe swimmers in the pool and on the pool deck for accidents.
Enforce rules and regulations governing the safety and conduct of swimmers and guests firmly but tactfully.
Perform rescues and administer and coordinate emergency first aid as necessary.
Maintain Jeff Ellis & Associates International Lifeguarding Training Program (ILTP) certification, including attending ongoing training.
Promote a safe and professional workplace by adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Golfland Entertainment Centers handbook.
Perform daily routine chores and maintenance of the waterpark.
Conduct safety checks of pool areas and equipment, and advise management of any unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
Qualifications
Minimum age 16 by the end of your lifeguard class.
Certified in the Jeff Ellis & Associates International Lifeguarding Training Program (ILTP).
Ability to pass prerequisites: swim 200 yards (no time limit), tread water for two minutes with hands above water, and retrieve a 10‑lb brick from the bottom of a 9‑ft pool.
Excellent swimming and rescue skills.
Interview Requirements
IMPORTANT:
On interview day, meet at the Sunsplash Exit Gate (first entrance/parking lot). Please come prepared to swim. You may interview in swimming attire or interview‑appropriate attire and change into swimwear after the brief interview. The interview will include the prerequisites mentioned above. Allocate up to two hours for the interview.

5/25 – 5/30: 9 am‑3 pm Monday‑Saturday
