**Overview**
Student Affairs at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a **Student Desk Assistant** for Student Center Operations! The student desk assistant supports the Student Center Operations department with a variety of administrative duties.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet visitors to our suite in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Assist them with questions or directions as needed
- Answer the desk phone in a pleasant and smiling voice
- Assist callers with inquiries and direct them to the correct resources as needed
- Receive and document lost and found items
- Sort Student Center mail
- Assist with Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society
- Deliver deposits to Student Financial Services
- Deliver items to other offices on campus
- Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings
- Arrive promptly for shifts, dressed appropriately, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic team attitude
**Qualifications**
+ Enrolled student at Auburn University
+ Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
+ Ability to work during the summer semester
