Role Summary
The Administrative Lead serves as the principal support for the Biomedicine Design (BMD) Leadership Team as a collective body, focusing on delivering high-quality administrative and business operations assistance. This role is dedicated to ensuring the smooth functioning of the leadership team’s activities, including calendar and meeting management, travel coordination, and expense reporting. The Administrative Lead acts as a knowledgeable resource for BMD colleagues, offering guidance on Pfizer’s operational and business tools, and proactively contributes to team efficiency and effectiveness.
Role Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the BMD Leadership Team, ensuring seamless execution of team priorities.
Collaborate effectively with the BMD Operations Team and other BMD colleagues, fostering a team-oriented environment and supporting cross‑functional initiatives.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for BMD scientific colleagues, offering guidance and training on business tools and systems for scheduling, purchasing, travel, and expense management.
Provide support for team‑building events, workshops, and seminar series to foster collaboration and engagement.
Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in managing and prioritizing workload, consistently delivering business and operational support within agreed timelines, and communicating adjustments proactively when needed.
Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver value‑added contributions to BMD.
Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues, even in ambiguous situations, to maintain team effectiveness.
Independently complete complex assignments, consistently providing high‑quality administrative and business support to BMD.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree with 8–10 years’ experience or high school diploma with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Enjoys fast‑paced environment, highly organized and personable, proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking.
Non‑Standard Work Schedule, Travel or Environment Requirements
Overtime by exception; minimal travel.

Salary
The salary for this position ranges from $33.11 to $55.18 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the company’s policies.
