is looking for a

Lead Project Coordinator

to join our Energy Solutions team.

The Project Coordinator must be a highly capable, detail-oriented individual. The coordinator plays a crucial role in determining the feasibility of lighting and solar photovoltaic PV projects. This individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently but must also possess the ability to effectively interface with many internal & external customers daily. Other job duties include any other departmental assignments as directed. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Director, Energy Solutions.

The essential functions of the position include:

Multi-Technology Estimating: Develop preliminary cost estimates for lighting retrofits, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar PV installations based on regional project requests.

Incentive Optimization: Identify, quantify, and track available utility rebates, state incentives, and federal tax credits to maximize project value.

Financial Modeling: Calculate initial project payback periods, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and overall ROI to support the business case for proposed energy solutions.

Proposal & RFP Support

RFP Response Development: Coordinate and support the drafting of formal RFP responses and project proposals, ensuring all technical requirements, vendor quotes, and compliance documentation are consolidated into professional, on-time submittals.

Customer Reporting: Create high-impact technical reports and sales presentations that translate complex energy data into clear, actionable insights for customers.

Project Intake & Lifecycle Management

Regional Intake Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for regional teams, managing the intake of new project requests and ensuring all required site data is collected for engineering review.

Deliverable Tracking: Take ownership of project reporting timelines, ensuring all deliverables—from initial audits to final proposals—are tracked and completed on schedule.

Process Documentation: Manage the documentation of internal processes and lead the resolution of project-specific administrative issues to ensure smooth transitions from development to construction.

Communication & Subject Matter Expertise

Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and financial constraints to both internal stakeholders and external, non-technical customers.

Your background includes:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Proficient use of Microsoft suite of products.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations

Ability to compose and write correspondence and reports

Ability to effectively present information as required

Ability to define problems, collect all necessary data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, exercise discretion and independent judgement

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in written, mathematical, or spoken form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Ability to see the other side of an issue and work a problem or task to conclusion, utilizing any resource available

A bonus to have:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, law, finance, engineering, math, or related field.
