Description

ROOM ATTENDANT - SEASONAL (SPRING/SUMMER HELP)
Downtown Seattle - 1101 4 th Ave. (4 th & Spring)

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Room Attendant with Kimpton, you're the heartbeat of the guest experience — the person who transforms a room into a sanctuary and makes every guest feel genuinely cared for. You'll keep guest rooms and common areas spotless and beautifully arranged, all while bringing the kind of warmth and attention to detail that turns a stay into a memory. You'll be an advocate for the hotel, a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and someone guests may never meet but will absolutely feel.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish, and service guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures.
Replace linens, replenish supplies, empty wastebaskets, and rearrange furnishings, drapes, and room accessories to ensure every room is guest-ready.
Provide linen and amenities in accordance with the guest room legend.
Leave each room in the uniform arrangement determined by the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring doors are closed and secured before moving on.
Clean all corridors and service areas, and respond to projects or requests from the Housekeeping management team.
Restock your cart at the end of each shift and organize the linen closet to set the next day up for success.
Report any damage, hazards, repairs, or unusual circumstances — including no luggage in a stay-over room, sleep-outs, or guests smoking in rooms — to the on-duty supervisor or manager.
Return any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back-of-house to Housekeeping as lost and found, logging the date, location, item description, and finder's name.
Maintain pass key security and ensure it's turned in at the close of each shift per hotel guidelines.
Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING

A genuine care for guests — their comfort, safety, and security are always top of mind.
A sharp eye for detail and a high standard for cleanliness and presentation.
The ability to work efficiently and independently while managing a full room assignment.
Physical stamina to stay on your feet and moving throughout your shift.
A flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you the rest.
