Back Chassis Mounts Design Release Engineer #2015139 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Chassis Mounts Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the program management of Chassis Mounts systems and components from inception to end-of-life. Chassis Mounts DRE roles and responsibilities are:
Develop and review designs and analyses that meet predicated acceptance criteria
Manage the validation of powertrain mounting systems and components with suppliers and internal rig, MAST, and vehicle testing
Review and approve manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure system robustness
Implement changes necessary to achieve adjusted targets within program milestones
Administer design and validation planning to meet specific vehicle timing
Review manufacturing and assembly processes for the vehicle assembly and module assembly plants to ensure processes conform to guidelines
Support production by monitoring plant manufacturing processes of components and vehicle installation operations
Audit field warranty data and determine root cause, next steps, and implementation plans for warranty reduction

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of related experience in Chassis Mounts systems
