Finance Intern – Summer Internship Program
The Finance Intern position will be located in Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operations, Whitehall, MI. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Finance team. The internship lasts 10-14 weeks of structured hands‑on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, networking events, and projects that add direct value to the business. At program completion, interns present projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. Interns may be considered for future entry‑level openings.
Responsibilities
Compile daily reports for management
Participate in month-end closing
Fixed asset audit – reporting improvements, analysis and physical inventory
Support compliance efforts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a Finance or Accounting related program.
Minimum completion of sophomore-level coursework from an accredited institution (by May 2026).
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
