Part‑time Administrative & Safety Coordinator responsibilities include supporting daily administrative operations while ensuring safety compliance during plant walk‑throughs. Key Responsibilities
Complete assigned administrative and clerical task checklists daily and weekly
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
Conduct follow‑ups on outstanding administrative items, reports, and documentation
Perform routine physical walk‑throughs of the plant to observe and verify adherence to safety protocols
Document safety observations, noting issues, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement
Report findings clearly and promptly to the Site Manager
Assist with maintaining compliance records and supporting safety audits as needed
Communicate effectively with team members across departments
Qualifications
Prior administrative or clerical experience required
Prior safety or industrial environment experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow structured checklists
Comfortable working in both office and plant floor environments
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Work Schedule
Part‑time hours (flexible schedule to be determined)
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk through an industrial plant environment regularly
Must be able to observe surroundings and identify potential safety concerns
Preferred Attributes
Experience with safety compliance or OSHA‑related practices
Self‑starter with strong follow‑through
