**Overview**
The Student Assistant supports the College of Agriculture and Alabama Agriculture Experiment Station by assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of agricultural facilities, land, and properties. This position helps ensure outdoor areas and facilities are maintained in a safe, functional, and presentable condition.
**Responsibilities**
+ Mow grass and perform routine landscaping tasks
+ Weed and trim around buildings, walkways, ponds, and field areas
+ Blow debris and assist with general grounds cleanup
+ Assist with minor carpentry tasks and basic repairs as needed
+ Safely operate lawn and grounds equipment under supervision
+ Complete other maintenance-related duties as assigned
